Has anyone done The Lover's Knot in a quilt, not the Quilt In A Day pattern she has for placemats. Did you piece it or paper piece it? I love the look of it but wonder if paper piecing wouldn't be the easiest way to get the straightest lines.

That's what I'm thinking on this, too, because if the lines are off the least little bit, the look will be lost. Thanks for the reinforcement!

Me, too. Except for the block I turned the wrong way & had to take out to fix!!! But the quilt was pretty easy.

I did two totally different Lover's Knot quilts and just pieced them regularly. I posted them on the group, and you can find them here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-95895-1.htm

LOVE the pattern (obviously since I did it twice!), and it's a really simple and fun quilt to do.

Hope it helps!

I made this for my daughters wedding quilt and machined pieced it I had no problems whatsoever and I don't do alot of machine piecing, I found it a very easy quilt to make I cut all the pieces exactly as instructed and they all matched perfectly and it went together very quickly - well at my speed anyway!!!!!!
