We own "Drawing Hands", framed and on the wall, and We have both "Concave Convex" and I think "Relativity" somewhere still rolled up in a tube holder waiting to be framed. LOVE M C Escher's work and can't wait to see what you might come up with. Good luck!

In a life long ago I was also a teacher ... mostly math at Junior High/ Middle School or High School.
You can easily make your own Escher designs fairly easily if you are talking about something like the birds design.
Start with a square of paper. Whatever you subtract fom one side or cut away you put on the opposite side. so those sides will snug up close. My kids loved doing this in math and in JH/MS did the coloring or design in art class.
Hope this is clear, if not, let me know.\

I will try and get permission. I think I can not do what he did, but I could do something similar that is much more easy to make. I love the drawing hands. I was thinking about the angels and demons only making angels a little different so I could make something other than demons to go with it. Demons don't seem too quilty like. Maybe I could make just a man. Any way, thank you! Jeanne

This is silly and If I had the talent to do so I would not hesitate for a second to reproduce a quilt for MY own use. My own use does not hurt the copyright in anyway .....

I think some of them would make beautiful quilts and would be a fun learning experience. Thanks for the link. I would love to do the swan one but Ido not have the talent or patience.
I hope you try it,Good Luck.
