I am hand quilting a couple of quilts for a customer, she sent them to me machine basted. As I take out the basting I can still see where it was. Is this going to come out eventually? Anything you do to hasten the process?

the holes should disappear when the quilt is washed. if you didn't plan on washing it, try spritzing the area and brush lightly.

I agree with QuiltnNan. The holes will disappear. Kind of scares a person when you first experience this though.
