I have to use my gloves. I have so much better control. As for the halo I hate it, to confining. I love the slider as it really helps my quilt to slide better.

I bought gloves at the dollar store with a grip type coating on them. They were a tad big but I washed them in hot water and took another seam to make them smaller.

Just got my Machingers in the mail yesterday. They fit better than the Fons&Porter so that is a plus from the beginning. I will use them in the next few days when I am feeling a little better.

I do have the slider and the halo. I use gardening gloves from Big Lots or Wallyworld. The slider might not look like much, but it is a big help. The halo has not been as useful to me...but I don't do a lot of free motion with my regular sewing machine...not lately anyway.

I used a pair I bought at hardware store, but this pair was pretty much sticky all on the palm and fingers. I love them. So much easier than without them..Good luck.

Yes, as far as I know. I have several machines and it works with them. The machine should be in a cabinet or have a table so the slider will have room to lay flat.

I got my machingers and I do love them. Much better fit than the Fons and Porter. But the wrist is already starting to unravel.I guess a drop or two of Fray Check may work. Now to find where I put it.

Buy a new one. Then you'll find your lost one.
