I keep all my templates and speciality rulers in hanging files in a portable file box. And most importantly, the INSTRUCTIONS for these rulers.

One tip: Where it says to add 7/8" most of us add 1" and then trim. Good luck!!
I agree with Kitsie - I did around 200 "flying geese" using this method.

One comment here - I increased the size of Fabric B (the color that eventually turns into the corners) to one inch larger (rather than 7/8 as it says in the directions). This gives you a little more fabric to make sure you can trim the top to a nice 1/4 inch seam.

Oh - and your rulers? you will find them if you purchase new ones -

Wow that looks to be a great investment...I notice the label on the front too.... When I go on my mission to find the rulers I will label every area of my sewing room ...and organized as some advised - I do this in my kitchen and pantry also..

Onward in my quest to find the speciality rulers

I do the same thing myself, but with other household stuff. I use machinist toolboxes to store EVERYTHING except fabric. My rulers, my threads (keeps them out of the sunlight!), parts for my longarm, parts and accessories for my DSM, notions like zippers and purse findings, and so on.
Now, if I could only get my fabric that organized, I'd be in great shape!

I highly recommend a trip to Harbor Freight (with coupon and sales flyer in hand) to get a big toolbox.

I actually have THREE - and they are full!!!

I can't agree more!! That is why I have doubles of so many quilting tools.

I really like the idea of using a portable file to sort things into -- just need to find a place to put it.
