Quilters Newsletter and McCalls Quilting get my vote (well, for this year anyhow).

My favorite magazine is Asian Fabric. Beautiful fabrics and projects. My next is Quilting Arts. I also enjoy Fons & Porters, Quilter's World and McCall's Quilting.

I just subscribed to Quilter's World and enjoyed the patterns. Eager to see what the next issue has. I do get McCalls and just started that subscription - I'll hold my opinion till I see more, but it was a good deal. Our library carries F&P's LOQ and you can check out all but the current issue, so why buy?

Better Homes and Garden's American Patchwork & Quilting, have subscribed to it for 15 years. I have made more projects out of their issues than any other magazine.

For number of years I was buying almost every magazine available, then I started to go through them and decided it wasn't worth it. Plus with the internet and this board you have a wealth of inspiration.

Australian Quilters Companion. It isn't full of the usual run of the mill patterns, has applique, interesting reading, AND includes a CD in a hard cover on a different technique with each issue!

I may be wrong, but I think those magazines morphed into The Quilter Magazine a few years back. This is one of my favorites, for great patterns, gorgeous pictures, and good articles. I used to subscribe to those oldies about 10 yrs ago, and I read somewhere that this is the new result...same editor, I think.
