I'm allergic to wool- I'd be all little red dots. Darn, it sounds devine!

If that happens to me, I will call them freckles. At least as long as the 25 yards holds out.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't delved into the do's and don'ts of how to deal with cleaning. I am going to call the dealer on monday and get the recommendations from them as to how to handle all those issues. The quilt I have planned is quite large so I will have to rent an aircraft hanger to dry it flat if that is the only option.

Follow the instructions on all Batting! most are machine washable with cold water and handwash cycle. Never put a quilt in the dryer. Flat dry for best results. I love wool and have not had any problems with it. I guess you could put it in a large zippered pilow case and wash it if you are afraid of it before using it.

I love wool batting! I just used something new to myself though. I used "Green" batting made made soda bottles and it is great. so soft and easy to quilt. I'm swicthing to that now.

The website for the company states that because the fibers are "Bonded", that it can be washed and the quilt can be quilted up to 4" apart. I am going to contact customer support on monday, to get any other info I can get, and I will post it.
