Hello,
I have always made quilts for gifts. I put alot of myself in each one for that particular person. I have one Bear Claw quilt all cut out for my husband and I but it keeps getting pushed aside for another project.
Happy sewing,
Dee

I have given one quilt away. So far that is the only one I have done. A childs one is being picked up from the quilters tomorrow - will be given away. An oversized queen will be picked up from another quilter on Monday and that one will be mine. Am working on a memory quilt for a friend. and just picked up the material today for a mystery quilt which will be for my daughter. I have three wall hangings for myself and have made 6 that were gifts. I have one more quilt 3/4 finished - not sure what I will do with this one. This is just in the last 2 years. Also have made 25 pot holders for gifts. I need some new potholders myself!

I kept the first quilt I ever completed. The rest have all been given to friends or donated to charity.

I have given away about half of mine to friends and family. And the other half I have kept. Funny thing.....the ones to be given away usually get done first. Most of the UFO's I have are the ones for me.

I have given mine all way except the first one I made. I call it "All the men in my life" because it was made out of flannel shirts of my Husband, Dad, brothers, Grandpas and one very special Uncle. I have kept pictures of all the quilts I have made. Does that count. I have severial that I want to make for charities.
