    I remove the interfacing inside the ties then launder them, wash in warm water, small amt. Detergent, gentle cycle the tumble dry low heat or hang them. Then iron them to finish drying. I've never drycleaned my silks or wools- not a fan of those horrible chemicals.

    Thanks for all the information. I am taking a class at the Houston show on making a pincushion from men's ties so this is very timely for me.
