That is such a pain when that happens. Sometimes its better to get a really good second hand machine and sometimes you can get at least a 6 month guarantee. Wish you luck with your search.

I agree with the second hand machine. Visit a local thrift store, you may be able to get one for 20$. Or go to a machine dealer they may be able to make you a deal.
