Mancuso's Mid-Atlantic Quilt Show
Well, thru 6-9 inches of fallen snow that ended about 4 hours before our arrival on Thursday - 4 of us made the trip to Hampton VA! Exciting drive to say the least. Fantastic show. Great Double Wedding Ring class with John Flynn...Then just under 5 hours of driving through sleet, freezing rain, and ice on Sunday to get back home......All in all it was a wonderful time!

Isn't it nice to have friends with you when stuck traveling in icky weather? Glad you had a good time at the show. Planning on going to that show here in NJ on Friday with a couple of other local QB'ers.

Me too. I would be waiting for the next. Too dangerous on the road. I worry about the other's driving that are coming at you and behind you!

Shorebird, glad you came and enjoyed the show. I live only 25 minutes away so went to the preview Wed night. Snow was just too much on Thursday so I stayed home. Went Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. The main roads were pretty clear. I feel bad for the vendors because there were definitely fewer people than most years. I tried to help their sales by buying much more than I needed. The quilts were fabulous!

I'm looking forward to going tomorrow here in NJ with two quilting friends. BUT, it's snowing like crazy today so I'll just have to wait and see. I too was thinking about the vendors and fewer people attending.

Maybe we'll see you there! Hoping it's not too crowded but the weather here tomorrow should be good.
