How appropriate! I will be at a quilting retreat that weekend. We go up to the mountains on Thursday and come back Sunday afternoon. There are 8 of us that go once a year, in March, but usually the previous weekend. Looking forward to a good time of sewing, eating, sleeping, and more sewing

On March 27 one of the local guilds is having Quilter's Day Out. They have goodie bags and door prizes (everyone gets one), demonstrations, exchanges of fat quarters (this year it's purple), patterns and magazines and of course lunch. You can also bring quilts for show and tell. It's a lot of fun, all for 8$.

I'm 25 and none of my friends quilt either, if we lived closer we could have our own quilting day party and wait for Quilta Clause to come visit :)

The 21st is my daughter's 11th birthday so I'll have two giggly, gabbing, girls all weekend long. We'll celebrate on Friday evening with her best friend and family then her friend gets to spend the entire weekend. I think I will be ready for a gift of my own on the 20th. There's a quilting retreat nearby that starts on the 21st and lasts through Thursday hmmmmm........ I wonder if Quilty Qlaus would like to pay for that. Fat quarter chance of that.
