Martelli - Bella sitdown quilter
Does anyone have this machine or any Martelli machines. Are you happy? Is there another of equal performance that is less money? I saw this yesterday at a quilt show. Fell in love with it. Loved the electric height table. Thanks everyone in advance for your thoughts.

Martelli is really new to the machine quilting scene. Compared to other manufacturers, there are fewer users and fewer comments to be found online. If this is the only sit-down quilting machine you have tried, I would definitely recommend trying others which may feel equally good to you and have a more solid track record in the industry (and perhaps a dealership closer to you for problem solving). You can do some cost comparisons online. Alternatives to check out would include the Handiquilt Sweet Sixteen:

and the APQS George:

Both of the above have been around for years and have many comments about them online. (Also check for threads here on the QB.) George is the one that Ricky Tims quilts on, I believe.

There's also the Bailey(http://baileyssewingcenter.com/test.html), which has a good reputation and great customer service.
