I love it.....buy it by the gallon from Joanns with the 50% off coupon and order enough to get free shipping. I even use this on my husband's shirts!

Can you imagine telling people, oh yes, I'm in the liquor store buying booze for my quilt.
Right ... just right! :)

Didn't the other posted recipe include adding corn starch or liquid starch to the mix?
Get the itty bitty bottle at the cash register for under five bucks. Drink what you can't use. Its only a little over an ounce in them.

I'm leaning towards this one because someone said bugs and silverfish like corn starch - well I HATE BUGS or anything like them that crawls, so you can be sure I will just buy whatever our stores sell and just spray heavier, lol

A bit out of my range, especially when something works as well at a lower price.

I use it. Originally bought it for black fabric because I heard it didn't flake. Been using it ever since.
I buy the gallon size.

Maybe it's just me but I didn't like it. I prefer my Magic Sizing.

I used to use Magic Sizing until it left brown spots on something I was ironing. I thought it was because the can was old but didn't want to take the chance again. Also, I would get some flaking from time to time.

The vodka, water, and scented oil is used to put in your iron for scented steam. The tip was in a lot of older quilt magazines and Ricky Timms talked about it on his show. You have to use the vodka, something about the oil and water mix.

I really like the way it makes the fabric behave, especially while FMQ, I purchase it by the gallon, sometimes at my favorite quilt shop, sometimes on line, I also use it for sewing ans on my granddaughters clothes, it doesn't leave them starchy for her little body :D
