Also, if it's a directional fabric, make sure you cut it so it goes the correct way in the square! :-) (Don't ask!)

I printed out 2 patterns with 5 pages each at same time. Instead of printing one and stapling that one together first, I went ahead and printed another then dropped all ten pages. Got 2 pages with same numbers cutting instructions crossed/mixed. Took me 2 days to figure out what I had done. I have another block for a sampler. Believe me when I say I got so mad when I got them separated them mixed again. Hubs suggested one printed pattern at a time. So much for haste!

I was in brain fog a while ago so I knew to measure twice. I even wrote down the cutting plan before I cut anything. Well, 2 of my borders were perfect. 2 were short. When I went back to my notes I realized that I apparently picked a random number to cut. So for me it is now: measure twice, write down the measurement, LOOK AT THE NOTES, then cut.

I am finally down to that after how many years. I started quilting with measuring 4-6 times and then cut.

I would SO do this!

I pretty much accept my humanness when it comes to directions, cutting, math, and everything else! It's a great reason (excuse?) to buy extra fabric. Seriously, I don't trust myself.
