Wow, gorgeous. I used to work at a thrift store years ago and I remember these things coming in sometimes (though not quite that antique!) I wish I'd known back then what I was looking at, I'd own one or two of them!

I have Betty's cousin who looks just like her. "Rosa" was my grandfather's wedding gift to my grandmother in 1916 or 1917. I've got to check the date.

I also e-mailed Singer with my serial # and questions...they were super helpful, and answered within 36 hours...your machine is great, and I hope you have as much fun getting to know her as the rest of us "vintage machine lovers" do...

Betty loves family! Do you sew with Rosa? I am going to try as soon as Betty gets back from being cleaned.
