Default Micropore Surgical Tape

LOL (Laughing at myself!) I bought 4 rolls of Micropore Surgical Tape for quilting but I can't remember what to do with it. Would love to know. Thank you.

Not sure what Micropore Surgical Tape is but I bought and used Nexcare tape
to put under my quilting rulers. It's made of plastic and has enough grip for
rulers. If your tape is smooth then I have no idea.

The clear Nexcare tape is, as EasyPeezy stated, used to provide grip on the underside of rulers. If I am not mistaken, Micropore tape is not clear like Nexcare tape. Nexcare tape is available at most big box stores, groceries, etc., in the first aid section and is not very expensive. I have it on all my rulers and I believe it makes a big difference.

We might have something in common because more than once I’ve bought an unusual grocery item to make something, then can’t remember what it was or where I read the recipe.

Happen to me yesterday. I had on my grocery list fresh parmesan cheese and ricotta cheese and I couldn't remember where I saw the recipe so I didn't buy it.

I use micropore to join pattern pieces, or sometimes to label rows for quilting

Were you intending to make lasagna? (I made that yesterday.)

Could micropore be used instead of painters tape for quilting?

You can use tape to mark where to sew for quilting. Makes straight lines and if you do cross hatching you can use the width of the tape for spacing.
