Millers Dry Goods
#13
I have heard this shop mentioned often but had no idea where it was located. I would be a long day trip for me but... if I could blend it with another adventure, it would be worth it. Glad you had a good "shop".

OK I like Miller's Dry goods but I really like Somewhere sewing . My guild has a retreat in Charm every year. We have hit most of the quilt shops in and around Berlin for 8 plus years. We stay at an Amish farm called Charm Country inn. Love that family. We stay 4 days and we sound like a sweat shop sewing. I would highly recommend them . There is a small shop called Pine tree quilts. Very small but nice people.I try to stay under $400. FOR the weekend lol

Where in Ohio do you live? I'm just outside of Ashland Oh. Millers has been my go to shop in Holmes county for many years. I really prefer it to Helping Hands in Berlin. It still has maintained its "old timey" feeling and is not as "touristy" as the others. The people there are very helpful too. You should subscribe to their website and news letter.

I'm with you WMUTeach.........I live in Three Rivers, MI. Would be quite a day trip but if I were to find a few other shops in between and an over night stay and a stop at Lolly's (one of my favs) in Shipshewana on the way home would be perfect.
