Meanwhile, all those scientists keep wasting their time on outer space and distant galaxies. How about the dangnab mysteries of inner space? Hope you all find your lost things. I am rejoicing because today, while digging through my quilt closet for a bit of fabric to make the guild's BOM, I found the books I had borrowed from a QB last fall when she went south for the winter. She's been back a month now, and finally I can return them!!

Thus, I can find everything. What a relief it is to have an organized sewing space. My husband gave me this as a Christmas present and even contacted her!
May I borrow your friend? My sewing studio could use a little, make that a lot, of organization. lol

I looked for hours for a Olpha ruler that I know I owned and had just used. I only had to leave the room for 10 minutes, and after having DH help me find it (my sewing rooms are really not out of order, shouldn't have been too hard to find it) I started to think that I only 'thought' I owned the ruler. Turns out, because I have a habit of 'swiping' with my left hand anything that is on the cutting mat while I am working on it, I had forced the ruler to slide under my Alto Quilt Cut 2. They fit perfectly under there.

And then there are those of us who don't resemble sanity at these times. I have dresden plate petals cut and sewn --not with the rest of the quilt. Time for a break, says me left brain to me right!

Late one afternoon my friend called me while I was still at work. While talking to her, I proceeded to clear my desk, shut down my computer, take my tea cup in to wash, and get everything ready to go. I gathered up my purse and keys and then frantically started looking for my cell phone. I was going nuts. I knew it had to be there. I back tracked all over the office looking then finally said "Penny, I have to let you go. I can't find my phone and need to get out of here." I don't need to tell you how mortified I was when I hung up that phone and realized I had been talking on it all that time. Geez! At least I can laugh about it now.

I have moved my trash can that I kept next to the machine - lost 2 different feet to my machine. Now I pull out a drawer on the cabinet and use it -

We quilters are not the only ones who misplace things. Recently, our preacher was talking about something he put away in a "logical place", only to forget what logic he had used. He still has not located that "logical place".

Usually I find that piece of fabric that I was looking for after I've substituted another fabric.
