    My husband is from AK and I have friends who live in Ninilchik, and DH used to live there when when was in first grade. His family now lives farther up in the Matanuska valley area.

    Home feels like it's at the end of the world! Enjoy. I remember eating lobster at a church "dinner on the grounds" once.

    I thought, "only in Alaska" would this happen.
