Beautiful quilt. You proved whites and creams can be used successfully!!

I love mixing white & cream. Hinterland's beauty clearly shows how well it works.

In the quilt I made, some of the creams were prints with bits of color on them- little swirls of blue, or pink flowers- but I didn't mix them with white.

    What do you prefer?
Your key word was "scrap" so I would have no problem mixing any of the off-white or cream or even a light ecru in.
After all, you colored fabrics will be all different values I'm sure. I think mixing your creams and off whites will be perfect.

The red quilt pictured is beautiful. I don't mean to be picky but isn't it a red, white and beige quilt? The colors are wonderful together.

I mix white and cream in quilts, not just scrap ones.

You can call it whatever you want - everyone has their own color definition. :)

Thank you, everyone, for your kind comments. I used a mix because I have lots of fat quarters and not very much yardage - and I like the challenge of mixing colors.

I would mix. Isn't cream a shade of white?
