The prices of everything is getting nuts, no end in site,as for gas, today I passed the gas station on my way to the gym $3.27 on my way home it was $3.29. It seems its been going up at least 2 cents a day and somethimes 2x's in a day!!
Groceries too, I noticed that a few of the items that I buy often have gone up over 25 cents since the holidays.
I think as far as fabric I will only be buying what I will be needing, I really dont have a stash since I have just gotten back into quilting a few months ago. I maybe even only doing small projects only, purses, runners.
I have been cutting back on almost everything we buy or use and I dont know how much more people are expected to go without or cut back on. I really feel for the seniors on small social security and pensions ....Something really needs to change in our country and quick. I did hear on ther news tonight about the southern states that are going to be growing a hybrid cotton this next growing season but didnt catch it all.

It's all about the cost of the cotton.

And to that I say:

Let's all go out and stock up on underwear!

(At least we will have nice undies while we dig through our stashes.)

Here's the stock market trend on cotton for the past 30 years.... the price has more than doubled in the past year.
