I picked up the Spring 2014 issue -- had not seen this magazine before -- and am so glad I did! It has ideas and techniques I haven't seen explained before. It's interesting to see how different this issue is from my many vintage quilting magazines. I love it!

Anyone else seen this? I am wondering if there are back issues I should get.

I've not picked that one up (I'm not much of a modern quilter), but the same company also produces Machine Quilting Unlimited, to which I do subscribe. It's also a great magazine, and has tons of hints, tips and tutorials for machine quilting on both LA and DSM's. If you like Modern Quilting Unlimited, be sure to check out Machine Quilting Unlimited, too - it's just as great!

I subscribe to this one and love it as I prefer the modern designs. A few weeks back their website had a sale on back issues for $3 each and I got 5 of them. You might see if that offer is still available.
