Default Monkey fabric

I have two pieces of fabric that I would like to use for a project; however, I have not come up with any ideas. Any suggestions?

One suggestion: It looks like it would be a good candidate for a Big Block quilt. This was featured on Sewing with Nancy. Your fabric would be for the large square featured in the block design. Cute fabric hope you find a design you really like!

That is cute fabric! It looks like one is peering into the jungle. Can you use it as a center panel, make a large border and applique palm trees (or whatever those trees are) on the side with the leaves overlapping into the panel part? Ruffled leaves would really make an interesting wallhanging. (You didn't say what project.)
Whatever you make, please post a picture. I really want to see what you did with the fabric.

This looks like a good choice for the BQ2 pattern.. I have made a couple of those and like how they turned out. You could use green and blue to go with this.. I bet green and brown would look nice

I wouldn't cut it at all. Use it as a medallion in the center of whatever borders you want to add. It is great fabric! froggyintexas

I'm not sure what I would do with it either. But it is super cool fabric. Also really neat is I see you are from Louisiana...Me too! LOL. I would love to see what you come up with though.

I too would suggest BQ2. I made this quilt using parrots.
