My choice isn't listed----if I'm drawn to a quilt I always have to flip it over to see what the quilter chose for the backing. If I have to choose from your list: pattern, quilting design and method used----hand or machine. I love to see the color combos, but I don't have a favorite.

#1 - Doesn't matter what the pattern is like if you like the colors it is gorgeous and if you don't it is not. #5 runs a close second.

Color and design, I am geometrical or pattern type of person. So have to have a pttern that appeals to me in the right colors. So maybe it's pattern then color?

#7! The feel! You can feel the love that goes into a quilt. Color doesn't matter, design doesn't matter. How it feels matters. Edie

I think the color draws me in first. Then I go to design and if it is nicely done.

Thw color usually gets my attention first but the overall look of the quilt is the most important. Some very simple quilts are wonderful. It is the overall look that makes a quilt special
