Default More progress on the purple Labyrinth Walk

I just finished making the last of the 9 sections of my Labyrinth Walk. The sections are not sewn together, and I still can't see the 3D-ness of it, but I have decided that is mainly because of the smallness of my sewing room. I can't back far enough away to get a good look at it.

But the camera manages better than I do, and I can see the 3D-ness of it in this picture.

Once the sections are sewn together and the borders are on, I am hopeful I can lay it on the floor and see it as it should be seen. But for now, I am tired of it. I hear my current book calling my name, and I am off to read.

Thanks to all of you who told me there was a 3D-ness to it when I posted its last picture. Stay calm and quilt on, right? I just need to remember my motto...

You've made great progress! It looks great and I'm sure you'll be pleased with it. Taking a bit of a break is probably a good idea. Sometimes we just need to walk away for a bit.

Great progress -- I like how this looks in purple. I am thinking to make this for DGS graduation next year but brighter than what is pictured on the pattern. Don't blame you for taking a break - I would go goofy looking at that pattern for any length of time.

I'm impressed. You are a trooper--keep up the good work. Are there clear instructions? Are you ripping out a lot??
