I guess I would have to say the Dresden, but there are also many others that I love too!

It is either the one I'm working on, the one I'm about to start or one of the 10,000 swirling around in my head. My neice (who teaches special ed) told me the other day that I was developing midlife ADD. I don't think there is such a thing, but she seemed pretty sure!

I would say the Carpenter's Wheel is my favorite these past two weeks. It must be because my mother in law and I are planning on making pink and brown ones one our sewcation at the end of September.

A few years ago we were at a QS and I sat through the bed turning event. It was so well done. The last quilt was a Grandma's Flower Garden in 30's fabric with a diamond shape path through it done in darker Nile green. People actually gasped when the quilt was revealed and several of us were crying (esp me). It was absolutely stunning. The background was pristine, the hexs were bright and the path absolutely made the quilt. The handquilting was tiny and exact. I have never seen anything so beautiful in my life and doubt anything could top it. I don't recall who the maker was, but someone inherited an absolute treasure.

DJ. I just finished the blocks for one, it took a year and I love it as much now as when I started. Here's a picture from the first time I laid all the blocks out together. Since then I've changed some of the colors. Didn't have room for all the triangles. I also love NY Beauty and Mariner's Compass. DJ turned me into a paper piecer.

I love the DJ in the brights, hadn't thought I wanted to do one but guess I will have to change my mind. One of my favorites is the One Block Wonder - no 2 ever look alike.

I like Slanted Diamonds. They are pretty and easy to make.

When I see a Drunkard's Path pattern in any variation I think that's my favorite. I like circles and arcs in quilts.
