Did you see the quilts from the quilt shows that someone posted here recently? (It was a link to a blog) I looked at those and was breathless. Each one was so magnificent and my favorite until I looked at the next one. Unbelievable talents and such marvelous patterns, fabrics, skill and occasionally embellishments

no way for me to choose. If I had to find a most beautiful, it would no doubt be one that has a central theme with surrounding areas of quilting done in coordinating patterns.

One of the best ever quilt pictures I've seen on this board is the very intricate BEARS IN BED. It's not "beautiful" but by golly is is the best use ever of quilting ideas!

I made a baby dear jane (DJ) and I still think it is the most beautiful quilt.

I was at an Amish quilt auction when I first started quilting and a quilt came up that was called (I think) "Eureka." I think it was done in blues and was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. I don't know if that pattern is hard, but maybe someday I'll attempt that one. Wish I had taken a picture because I really don't remember the colors, just that it was so strikingly beautiful.

Too hard to pick a favorite...but I do love sampler quilts...and especially have liked the ones that combine piecing and applique....like many of Lori Smith's patterns...I have so many of those that I would like to make "someday."

I could never pick just one!!! I am one of those people who like so many different quilts and patterns that it gets me into trouble! I often wished I was more focused on a certain type of style instead of loving so many different things.
