That’s great news...I’m sure it has been tough for all businesses, large or small.

We live in Eastern Iowa, and hubby has offered to take me there several times. And while I would love to see Hamilton, Mo one time, I really do have enough fabric to last a couple of years. Except for neutrals of course...who ever has enough of off white or cream? I was born and raised in Missouri (eastern side) and would be so afraid of becoming "homesick' that I would never want to come back to Iowa again.

MSQC isn't in Paducah, Kentucky. They are in Hamilton, Missouri.

I've been to Paducah and MSQC, in my post I said: I don't see how you can not find a place to eat at any of the two places
in response to the poster asking about places to eat at both places.

If your not too picky, you'll find something at MSQC, but after visiting three times, DH and I don't have anything to recommend, as we've been to different places each time and been disappointed each time. However DH and I are picky enough that we often pack our own food when we travel. There are places to eat, but it is a small town so the choices are slim. Last time we asked and got a recommendation for the Mexican place, but it wasn't very authentic so we weren't impressed. However if you prefer Americanized Mexican food, you might really like it.

DH loves going to MSQC even if the food isn't real great. We're usually on our way to GA and there are enough other great places to eat when we get south that it's all OK. It seams that on average, people in the south take food more seriously than people in the north.

I had a very good lunch at The Hangout at MSQC. I don't go to Paducah or MSQC for the food though, never think about it when there. . LOL

The only time I went to MCQC was a few years back and MSQC provided a nice lunch for us. We went to a show or lecture, whatever you call it, and Jenny was so great explaining the different blocks she demonstrated. They gave everyone a FQ and gave a LOT of prizes away. Several in my group won, but not me. I was on a front row, but on a side section, as Jenny was setting up. She told me to come stand with her for a picture and she didn't mind taking pictures with everyone else only after the show. I had at least one friend, still speaking to me, that got a good picture for me-lol- They are having good sales all month long, because from what I understand, March is national quilting month. I ordered yesterday. It is definitely a quilt town. I am no help with places to eat. Seems like you are in the middle of nowhere. I am glad you are going though. You won't be disappointed if you love quilting!

I hope to get to go sometime. I usually go with my Daughter and it would be an overnight stay for us. I may not get to go. Sometimes she goes with her new DIL to Paducah.

If you go, stop by the Lets Make Art watercolor shop, related somehow to MSQC. Warning, if you're like me, you needed another hobby like a hole in your head, but followed them and got caught up anyway.

I remember thinking quilting is so much quicker than crochet and now that I do some watercolor, I think, wow, watercolor is so much quicker than quilting. I live in a hurry up world, I guess.

Ah, thanks for clarifying. The way the post was worded, it read as if you were placing MSQC in Paducah.
