No matter how many duplicates you have of rippers, small rulers, thimbles awls, pins etc, etc. you can never find one when you need it no matter how hard you look. When you don't need them you can lay your hands on 6 of any one.

Murphy says: "Spend a year on your applique masterpiece and people will say how much they like the back."

When you have been Free Motion quilting and finish to find that a corner of the quilt somehow got turned over and you have quilted miles over it. Then have to remove all the stitching and smooth out the backing and restitch all the areas connecting the FMQ.

These all so funny. thanks to all for the laughs.

You take your machine to a workshop, get all out on the table, to get ready to sew, and you find you have left the foot control/power cord at home!!

I actually combined the dog fur with dirt in a baggie and took that to pick out the color of our carpeting ! Where there is a will, there is a way. : )

Have you ever cut pieces out for a pattern yolu thought you would like, then find another pattern that was REALLY what you wanted, but the pieces are about twice the size of all the pieces you just cut and you are out of fabric.

You finally decide to buy that expensive quilting book and then find out you already know everything in the book and then you find a perfect copy of it at the used book sale at the library for $2.
