You did much better then you know. I would buy every OTT lamp you can find if it is a great buy. Why? The light bulb as we know it will be banned starting in January 2012. Only the swirly type will be sold and if you want a 100 watt light bulb it will cost $50. I have many of the new bulbs and suppose to last much much longer the regular bulbs. They do not. I date the base every time I change them out. The longest one has lasted for regular use in a table lamp is 6 months. My OTT light bulb for my sewing light is still going strong and it's over 12 years old!!!!!
