That’s what we’re planning for our next meeting in July. I can’t wait to see what everyone’s been working on!

So glad you had a good time. I used to have about 6 ladies at my house every Monday and we had such a great visit and show and tell. I really miss that social time but all of the ladies are still afraid to go out and I can't blame them.

Our group met two weeks ago. The circle kept getting larger and larger until we had to shout as we each took a turn telling what had happened for us during the lockdown. And then it started to pour so that put an end to it as there was not much shelter, we were actually in front of a members farm market in the parking area.
But it was wonderful to see everyone. We only moved here a year ago so there are few local friends, for us it was easy to self isolate. We expect to get back into our hall next week. Hopefully.

I'm back from my four day quilt retreat. We all had a great time. I guess we'll know in ten days if we survived.

My Tuesday group did get together. The weather was touch and go, and we had our rain gear on/with us, but the rain stopped just in time and it was gorgeous day by the time group was over.

Our hostess had moved their cars and put out lawn chairs in a circle in the parking area so we had a good surface even if damp. It was so nice to see everyone. We are a small group but it is our something to look forward to for the week.

We are planning on meeting again this week. We are planning on having coffee (bring your own cup), which means no masks. One of the ladies is having a really hard time with virus fears, I don't think she will be there next week, even outside, even spaced six feet apart... we kept our masks on for her comfort but it was a bit of a drag on the group.

You have to understand, none of us have been sick a moment during any of this. She seems to think I'm particularly germy because my husband has been essential and working the whole time, and I go out once a week to get groceries. I'm more concerned about the exposure the other ladies and their husbands have had in our various health care issues going to doctor visits and hospitals and such.

Oh well, we are all dealing with things in our own ways. I've got my own issues, enough that I don't need to worry too much over her. I've never been particularly scared of the virus itself, but periodically I remind myself that in Seattle, I live almost exactly midway between an active volcano and an active earthquake fault line...

Life is uncertain, buy fabric and eat dessert first!

My quilting group has met via Zoom. A great way to catch up - my husband was on hand via phone to help those less familiar with Zoom. Think it’s time to arrange another meet up.

Sometimes I think some people do this on purpose. If she was all that afraid she wouldn't have come to begin with so why accommodate her to not feel uncomfortable but it was okay for the others to feel uncomfortable. I would have told her so but that's just me.

Hi there. Our group has been meeting 2x/wk during the social distancing via Zoom. It's actually quite nice because we don't need to schlep all the stuff to the library. And we can meet when we want. Before we met 2x/mo. We do miss helping each other in person and going to lunch.

It's not over yet. DH works at the high school. On Monday a group of wild land fire fighters used the multi-purpose room for a training session. The leader forgot the pre-group questions. The covid tests came back at the end of the day with 3 positive. DH said that during breaks they were outside standing in groups talking; no social distancing or masks. We wait to hear reprecussions.
