what a wonderful topic. I think mine would be a sampler. with mariners compus for My time in the Navy. Log cabin for my love of home. Baby blocks for my two boys (men now). Pineapple for my time in Hawaii and the list goes on. Last block would have to be blank for what comes ahead.

My mom already made this quilt for me. It has a Statue of Liberty and a purple Ford Mustang convertible (family joke). only thing missing are cats.
Statue of Liberty meets purple Mustang

This is so timely 'cause I just choose these fabrics for a quilt for me! :-D Bluebonnets represent my past & family. (My Grandparents lived in Brady TX. & every spring we went to see the bluebonnets.) Bluebonnets also represent TX for me.(I'm a Texas Girl!!!) Bluebonnets also represent my love of gardening & outdoors! Another words Bluebonnets represent me. I like the Happy Trails pattern because of how well it blends together. As I've been planning this quilt I thought how our lives are like trails through life. Even though our trails are not always happy they our lives!
Here it is!!!!

Mine would include something from church, because that is where I feel closest to God and learn to imitate Him, and something with animals, as I really love them, cats & dogs especially, but wild animals as well, and the beauty of nature.

I think mine would be a sampler. I did something like this for a friend. I searched for different blocks and chose them for their names and how they related to his life. I wish I had taken a picture before I gave it to him.
