We have two quilt shops close by. One is so friendly. The other one is... Guess which one I go to. And they give you a big discount on your birthday.

    Hi Bailey's Mom
Where in IL. do you live? I lived in Rockford for 26 years. Still have a Brother there. Where is this Quilt Shop located? Next time I make it back there I'll make sure I check it out.

Acorn quilts are on Riverside Drive, between Perryville and
Mulford. I've been there several times, they're fairly new
    and really nice.
I live just outside of Rockford. My favorite LQS is
Quilters Haven on State St (just before Alpine Rd.)

    Lucky you!!!
Rockford is where I am from. But back then 9 years ago, I wasn't quilting. So I don't know how long they
    have been there.

Bailey's Mom, I am happy that you recieved a GC to a lovely Quilt Shop from a very thoughtful BF. What impresses me more, is the positive way you handled the event of your car not starting. Sorry that it didn't, but you did handle it beautifully. Some might panic, some might become angry, some might become very demanding of the BF & his job, but you did just great. As they say, When life hands ya lemons, make lemonade. Happy that you have this nice Quilt Shop to visit also.
