Cookie, I have that exact same Touch and Sew Singer that was the first thing I bought when I got my first teaching job, way back in 1971. It has gotten me through the Stretch and Sew era, making shorts and tops for my three boys, and dozens of appliqued sweatshirts that I sold back in the 80's to make some extra money. You will love it...especially the fact that you don't have to remove the bobbin to rewind it. It stays in the casing and all you do is push a button and it does it all right there. Have fun with it. It won't let you down.
