I love the blocks but don't have enough experience to know how to help you. Good Luck Sue

A few of my main questions are....is the purple fabric too bright?....should I "break up" the ivory 4 corners with a coordinating ivory with color?....and also, I was planning on yet another border around each bird panel in it's own color, but now I am thinking that would be too much?

Suggestions?
Thanks!
It looks great! Calm down and try to have fun! The purple is wonderful and so are the other colors.

Welcome - from Arizona. Congratulations on taking up quilting. Your first quilt looks great. Can't wait to see the finished project.

I take photos of all the variations I come up with, then view them (on the camera) to "see" what it's going to look like. It gives me a better perspective. I think others suggested that too. Eventually you'll find an arrangement that says "I'm the one". Trust yourself. You know what appeals to you. Great-looking quilt (and keep the purple). :)
