I don't exactly know what BQ2 means... all I know is that I have seen these quilts. A lady here (Barbara Wade) on the board sent me her pattern.

What about echo quilting around the figures. Then fmq like appliqué around hair, clothing details etc.

BQ2 - I think this means Big block quilts. You can buy patterns here. Also BQ1, 3 & 4, not sure if there's more.

i would prbably do a simple stitch in ditch i like easy pretty quilt

I would kind of outline around the faces and the words inside the blocks. I would then SITD around the squares and seams of the turquoise strips. Once that was done, I would do a stipple in the pink sections.
