Hello everyone! I am very new to all of this, this is my first quilt. I have just finished the top and now am trying to decide whether I should machine or hand quilt (leaning more towards machine). I am going to stitch in the ditch because I don't want to take from the pattern of the quilt but I'm not sure how to quilt the borders, should I do something different? I also wanted to get opionions on what color I should do the binding in pink or the black border. I would love some other opinions.

I am voting for pink also. As far as machine or hand, my rule is, if it can be done on a machine it will be.

Bravo! It's a beauty! I think I might do the binding in one of the black prints with a tiny pink flange. Check out Charismah's post titled Quick machine binding with flange. It is in the tutorial section and it is easy and very attractive. STD would look very attractive with your pattern.
