    Going on Fri. to my first retreat. Looking forward to going. Hope I get a lot done on my dresden as I am hand appliquing it.

    Retreats are the best!! been on a couple now.. you don't realize how much you can get done when you have uninterupted sewing time!! and to have your meals cooked for you & no dishes to do..yoohoooooo..... Hope that you enjoy yourself, and be safe on your travels!!!.... Can't wait to see pictures & here about how wonderful it was....

    I've never been on a retreat either. Sure would like to go to one in this area.

    I love the Dillard House, we used to stay there years ago when we'd take a fall trip from Florida. Have fun!

    We love retreats! Lots of good fellowship, laughing, sewing, eating. We've been to both kinds, those with teachers and UFO's.

    You'll love it and want to go back, again, and again. Doesn't matter which retreat, just pack. lol

    Have a great time! I'm going to one in Oct. at Granbury, TX, that Debbie who is on this site is organizing. It's my first too and I'm excited!
