It was easy. I just sewed scraps together and cut different size strips and sewed whatever fit and cut of the extra pieces. I sewed them together in big blocks, until I thought it looked good. Then I started sewing in rows after I had a bunch of different size blocks I liked and used pieces that I had cut off. This is for my daughter -in-law. I wish I had made it for myself!
I did not have a clue how I was going to put it together, but it worked out.

Now I will put a flannel sheet on the back and tie it. I can't quilt this big of anything on my little machine and I do not think I can afford to have it quilted. I tied one other quilt. But I have never used a flannel sheet before.

Love it. I'm doing one at the moment but I sashed it and now I'm wishing I didn't...Oh well, I guess I'll have to do another one. Hope mine turns out as beautifully as yours.
