    You did a terrific job! I like your fabric choices with the star and the flange makes it all pop!

    Gorgeous block! I love Hunter Star and plan on making it for my next quilt. I have always wanted to do a yellow and white quilt and think this pattern will work well. I hope my points come out as beautiful as yours!

    Love the Hunter's Star and adore yours. This just proves you don't have to spend a lot of money for beautiful block patterns.

    Wow! I spent last week trying to go this block...
    I finished it and can see the star but it's
    Terrible! Not ready for this! When I get over my
    Failure I may try your method.. Thanks for

    kat13, please do try that method of making the block. It was so easy. I have always loved the Hunter's Star but was a bit intimidated by it & the directions I've seen in the past but Roolen's tutorial is so easy & well explained. I'm not sure what the block is suppose to measure out at but I was able to square mine up to 9 5/8" square. I'm going to make another one today & see what the size comes out to on it.
