yipee!!!! I've heard that JoAnns donates fabric to GoodWill but I have never found any like that. I did get about 12 yards of a summery bird print for 6 bucks once. I may not have bought it at the store but for that price it certainly came home with me!!!

You were fortunate our local Goodwill and Salvation Army stores are high on fabrics. It kinda ticks me off sometimes thinking everything is donated to them. I wonder about people who are shopping there because they have to.

We have several local quilt shops but no good thrift stores around here. Lucky for you! Oh, when I take pics on my iPod I usually email them to myself, then open with my computer to post or whatever.

I brought back over 400 pounds of fabric from Goodwill, 99 cents a yard. Being a snowbird payed off there as our Goodwill at home will not except fabric. It took 7 extra large spaceage bags to get it home.

I hit a very good bargain at a garage sale last week. I got 2 of the grocery bags from walmart of fabric, one piece was more than 6 yards, a very nice paisley. plus quite a bit more of a yard or two and lots more for only $5.00 and the lady knew what she had because she is or was a quilter. Great buy.
