Me, too.

You had me thinking that your GS and his friends were not very nice people.

You'd think that if things were so grand with DGS now, the OP would want to say so on the other thread.

Guess it's better to let him be trashed there? and wallow in the pity party?

I usually wash, refold, and relocate the quilts at least once a year. Sometimes, I just air them well. I appreciate everyone's concern. As the old saying goes..."No harm, no foul." He even used is own 2 quilts, which he did wash. He did replace them all where I wanted them after they were cleaned.

By the way, every one of the young men called to thank us for allowing them to stay at our house. They even thanked me for the use of the quilts. Several even asked if I would make a quilt for them!
Aaaawwwww, that just melts my heart!

Your grandson sounds like a good kid. No doubt he'll make more mistakes, what adolescent/young adult doesn't? But with a good heart like that, he will be okay.

Now this is the ultimate compliment. I'm glad that the quilts washed well.

Cheers, K
