Watson, glad you have a person you can trust. So important!
Another reason I kept my Bernina 150 is if my newer one ever has to go in I won't be without. There is a guy who services all non-Bernina machines right next door. He's a gem. I have all my bases covered lol. He's swamped all the time but once I brought in my FW for some problem (can't remember what) and he fixed it on the spot and wouldn't charge me.

I have a great repair place. He only charges $60 for cleaning and tune up and extra depending on any problems a machine might have. So far, no matter the age of the machine I have not be charged more than $60. He is quick and the longest any of my machines has been out was 4 days and that was because of Memorial Day weekend. I have 2 machines right now I want to take in to him but will wait on that until maybe we get another stimulus check.
