What a wonderful gift, & what a special grandma you were blessed with! All her work is lovely, even that little jacket your daughter now wears...

What a beautiful story. Treasure life but most of all treasure the gift and your Mother for thinking of such a beautiful memory for you.

My Nana died 40 years ago and I still see her handwriting on recipes. She was so special to me as yours was to you. You will forever miss her. Yet the gift your mom gave you is priceless in keeping your grandmother in your heart. Thank you for this wonderful story.

I think this story makes us realize, that no matter what happens to us in life, what challenges we face, what promotions we get, what money we make, the bottom line is how special our family is and how much we love them. Obviously, there was a great deal of love between you and your grandmother. My grandmother died when I was 13, but I remember her with love. She didn't quilt, but knit for me. My Dad and Mom are still here for my children and grandchildren. They are 95 and 93 (in excellent health) and from the picture you sent of your grandparents, they just ooze love, the same as mine. Your Mom is precious for doing this for you. I'm sure your daughter and generations to come will all be blessed by her gift.
