How long have you had your machine. Reason being, my 3500 did that and it was my footpedal wearing out. My neighbor had the same thing happen. There is a spring in the foot pedal and it lets go after a lot of use. Hope this helps.

Apparently this is a known problem. Your Janome dealer should take care of it (replacement pedal?). Warranty on the foot pedal is 5 years.

BTW I learned this from the yahoo group...

Hi All, phoned the Janome dealer where I bought machine and he informed me that the pedal is not replaced as it only has 1 yr. warrenty. He has offered to clean it at no charge but a new one would cost me $50to $80. I have to drive 1 hr for this service.

Digitizer Jr. is software for Janome embroidery machines. I love using the software, even though my embroidery machine and I haven't quite hit it off.

I, too, LOVE my Janome 6600! Every time I use it, I want to write all over the Quilting Board and on Facebook how much I LOVE it!

I love my Janome 6600P. It's a great machine. I also have a little Janome 750 to take to class and retreats. It only weighs 12 pounds and has lots of nice features for a small machine.
