What a nice machine you're getting.
I love those old drawers, they were very well made. When you look at new furniture's drawers the difference is amazing. A lot of it is pressed sawdust and glued together.

A carpenter friend told us many years ago that we should buy used furniture and refinish it because it will outlast us. The stuff stores were selling in the 70s was so bad it would look crappy before we even got it paid for. So we either got old family or used furniture or built it ourselves. Still have a lot of it the kids didn't want or have room for.

I am super exicted to be picking it up wednesday night! Hubby has already said he will refinish the cabinet for me. Then we will look to see if we can get the machine running. For $25 the cabinet alone is a great steal, as I have been drooling over getting one as a display piece for the living room.
That will be a great machine for a collection. Love that its called "Honeymoon".lol And if hubby needs help finding out about the restore on them. Have him check with lostn51 on here. Thats his specialty!
