HoneyMoon Treadle anyone know anything about this one?
I picked this up on Craigslist the ad for for $100 or best offer. I offered to pick it up $0.00. The cabinet is a 7 drawer type, 3 on each side then the center one. The cabinet is in fair shape, the top needs redone. 3 of the drawers had been stripped of the shellac or whatever it is that is on them. DH has offered to restore the cabinet, although he is not thrilled that I have packed home another orphan, somehow I just cannot leave them behind no matter how bad they look. Guess this ability happens over time.
I have looked on the internet and do not find much info about it. I do not see a serial # or any other id type of info on the machine. Thank you in advance for any info you have about this machine.

According to ISMACS needle cross reference table ( I love that source)
It has
MFG --- NAME ------ Singer Needle -----A.K.A.
Davis-- Honeymoon ------1x2 -----Davis (N.F. F.S)
Davis---Honeymoon -----20x1----- Singer H.A.
So, yours is made by Davis, and it's one of two styles, either modeled after the Davis or the Singer (should be easy to figure that out by looking at them)
Here is a link to the PDF file, it's 102 page download - I have found info on several obscure machines from this list.
It's alphabetical based on Model name, Honeymoon is on page 42

Like Macybaby says, your Honeymoon is made by Davis and uses a Singer 1x2 needle which translates to Boye 10 or an industrial MTx190 can be substituted. The serial number is located on the front bobbin sliding plate. Butler Bros., a large mail order house similar to Sears, was one supplier of these machines and shipped by rail across the country. Davis went bankrupt in 1924 and your Honeymoon has a 1910's look to it.
Enjoy
