    Is the IDT the same as a walking foot only part of the machine rather than an attachment?

    Yes, and I have a Pfaff with it that I use for applying bindings. Makes it a lot easier to keep all layers together

    Oh my! you really cleaned up. I am a Pfaff fan, have a QE2044. Elizabeth is going on 9 years old and still behaves like a new machine. I paid many times over than you did and she was a bargain at that price. Am so happy for you.
