I shy away from facebook. Not knowing more about the offer, I would politely refuse. Your quilt is lovely though.

Get in touch with the Chamber of Commerce where they are located and ask them about the company. Love your quilt.

I would find out more about the magazine before submitting anything. FB is notorious for hacking and it is difficult to end it. I was hacked twice within the same month after having FB help me through the first time. Miss it but quit my page. I was told not to click on any adds.

I don't frequent Facebook so don't know about this entity. However, your quilt is beautiful. I especially like your border treatment. It is just a perfect ending.

I just googled it & according to what's on google, it's a new magazine (2016) & only published 3 times a year. There is one solution, if you have any concerns than don't respond to the request. It does look legit but so easy to scam people these days. Would be a shame not to share your beautiful quilt but if you are not comfortable than I'm sure you know what to do or NOT to do. Good luck.

Here's some more info on the magazine:

Looks like it just started last year. Not easy to start up a new publication these days. I wish them well!

I guess you must have posted your quilt photo on FB where it could be publicly viewed already, right?

Sorry haven't heard of the magazine, nor have I heard of magazines contacting people to enter articles, usually it's the other way around.

I PM'd the editor a couple of times and she does respond right away. She sent me the link to the magazine, but it only shows 2 patterns. My concern is, does she create a pattern from our quilts? If so, part of my design is from a purchased pattern. I don't see any article on that site with individual quilts and their stories. That's what makes me wonder.
